Tamil Nadu students of CBSE Class 12 registered better results as compared to last year, pushing the pass percentage from 97.02 to 97.06. As soon as the results were declared, schools were in a mood of celebration. S Nishok Kumar of DAV Boys School in Mogappair topped Chennai, bagging 3rd rank nationwide with 494/500. He hopes to crack IIT or BITS Pilani. Vidhi Maheshwari of Chettinad Vidyashram, Chennai made her school and city proud by scoring 490 marks out of 500 despite of her debilitating disorder.
