Representatives of Karnataka Rajya Anudanarahita Shaala-College Adalitha Mandali demanded that the State Government must provide funds to the city’s Kannada medium schools. At a press meet, the mandali’s president Jayadev Gandhi said that grants were being provided to unaided Kannada medium schools till 1995 after which it was discontinued. The government must release grants to such schools too. He also requested the government to ensure adequate infrastructure.
