Lumiere 2015, the sesquicentennial two-day fest hosted by Bishop Cotton Girls’ School, on November 7 and 8, 2015, saw 32 fun-filled events. The fest was organised under the leadership of Principal Lavanya Mithran, along with untiring efforts of all teachers and event heads.
Schools from across Bengaluru participated in the events, ranging from debate and group dance to cooking and stand-up comedy.Food and games stalls, a Ferris wheel, carnival rides and magnificent display of vintage cars were part of the fest.
La Promenade, a fashion show themed on Classical Mythology, garnered attention for its beauty and poise. Day 2 commenced with `Voices’, the team singing event.
Students show cased their artistic skills at `Iridescence’, spray painting event, and gaming skills in `Retribution’. `Articulus’ tested how well students could face a financial crisis.
