Students are alone not responsible for their results. Parents play a great role to help in overcoming the odds of their children. Schools are now looking forward for digital ways to keep parents notified and engaged without the constraint of distance. Long gone are the days of newsletters and paper homework slips that can be forgotten or lost. Parents are now becoming tech-savvy and are wandering with smart phones in their hands linked to WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter and other social networks. Parents are now volunteering in supporting their child’s learning. Information regarding absenteeism, late start day, results, scores and PTA meet can be pulled through digital means of communication. This helps to bridge the gap between the parents and school authorities and helps to keep a regular check on their children which in turn helps in their academics.
