Pasti Ki Masti – Old papers join their fight for education

TOI-Times Foundation’s Pasti ki Masti campaign contributes to pay the fees of the girls and helped keep their dream alive for a better future.

Sandhya Patni
Sandhya’s father was a fruit seller. He died in a road accident last year. She stays in a rented room with her mother and has taken upa job in a garment-making unit where she irons clothes and earns about 190 per day. She studies in Class V in a nearby school. Her mother could not pay her second-term fees due to financial crisis. The Pasti ki Masti team paid Rs 2,240 towards her second-term school fee.

Tamanna Parmar
Tamanna stays with her parents and brother in a chawl at Girdharnagar. She studies in Class X. Last year she had scored 66% in her first-term examination. She aspires to be a nurse and treat patients. He father earns 5000 a month. Tamanna’s mother work as a housemaid and earns 4000 a month.The family could not to pay Tamanna’s fees. The Pasti ki Masti team paid Rs 3,500 for her school fees.

Jahnvi Solanki
Jahnvi’s mother died in June last year. She now stays with her father and four sisters in a rented room outside Dariapur Darwaja. She studies in Class VIII and has scored 65% in Class VII and aspires to be a teacher. Her father earns 9000 per month. Her father wants to educate her daughters but cannot afford. He could not pay Jahnvi’s fees for this term.The Pasti ki Masti team paid Rs 3,200 towards her school fees.
