City Schools Celebrated 150 Years of Lewis Carroll’s Classic

Schools across the city celebrated 150 years of Lewis Carroll’s classic with songs, skits and colourful play.

  • Sushila Birla Girl’s School: Sushila Birla Girl’s School celebrated their annual concert with Alice in Wonderland. From a little Alice to a giant Alice, five Alices came together to perform Alice In, Alice out, a musical complete with Mad Hatter’s tea party, the Queen of Hearts and all the little nuances that Lewis Carroll’s masterpiece is all about.
  • Shri Shikshayatan School: Tiny Tots of Shri Shikshayatan School took everyone on a fantastic journey to Alice’s world, accompanied with music and dance. Students of UKG took the stage dressed in blue and white.The performance by the little ones gave everyone a chance to revisit their childhood.
  • Mahadevi Birla World Academy: Mahadevi Birla World Academy celebrated 150 years of Alice in Wonderland with A Day with Alice. From skits and songs to a colourful exhibition, students of Class V transformed their classes in to a wonderland. The classrooms were transformed into different chapters from the book and students of other schools like Modern High School for Girls and Birla High School were invited to be a part of the celebration.
  • Cambridge International School: Animals spoke to each other, ducks danced and audience along with Alice had a wonderful time during her adventures in Wonderland. From colourful costumes and ambient lighting to melodious music and dance moves, the stage adaptation of Lewis Carroll classic presented by The Cambridge School at its winter fest had the proud parents delighted.
