The State Government has made nursing easier. The common entrance exam is no longer mandatory. Now Class XII pass outs can become nurses easily than before. The government took this decision after several seats in private colleges were seen to go unfilled. Moreover, shortage of nurses also prompted the move to ease admissions. As per new rules, colleges should conduct first admission round on the basis of results of the government or private CET. If seats still remain unfilled, admissions will be conducted on the basis of Class XII marks.
