A teenage boy was reading a fashion magazine but his mother snatched it away and said he should be watching football instead. “Are you my son or daughter?” she asked. There was pin-drop silence in the audience at Kala Mandir, as parents and students watched the scene being enacted in a musical presented by the La Martiniere Schools on Thursday evening.
About 120 girls and boys of the two schools presented The Next Generation School of Rock, an adaptation of School of Rock by Julian Followers.
