There was anxiety among the students, parents and colleges as the first online list for junior colleges (XI) admissions were announced. With a large number of students scoring over 90%, cut-off percent for science stream raised from 91% to 92% to 93%. The number of seats in junior colleges in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad has increased to 72,105 as compared to the 67,665 seats available last year.
