Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is planning to make its entry level admissions for Class I at all KVs fully online from the 2016-17 academic session. The decision was taken at the last Board of Governors meeting. According to their plan, right from application to issuing of the list of the shortlisted candidates will be done online. As per senior officials, admissions for Class I of 1128 KVs will go online. Around 1.3 lakh to 1.5 lakh students are likely to be enrolled in the forthcoming session.
