Among the top 41 scorers in Class X board exams this year, there are four students from Chennai to score 499 out of 500 with Tamil as their first language. They are KP Aarthy of Sethu Bhaskara Matric Higher Secondary School, Ambattur; R Anukeerthana, Shivani R and Anu Keerthana S of Velammal Matric Higher Secondary School. If students with Hindi, French and Sanskrit as their first language are considered, six students from Chennai have scored 499/500.
