Times NIE School Buzz reports events at various city schools:

  • Gitarattan Jindal Public School: Gitarattan Jindal Public School, Rohini celebrated its annual sports day and prize distribution ceremony. Chief guests felicitated the students for their academic and non-academic achievements. Subject toppers of science and commerce streams who had passed their class XII in May 2015 were honoured. School alumni were felicitated for their extraordinary academic achievements. School chairman, Principal and Vice Principal graced the occasion.
  • Amity International School: Amity International School, Sector I, Vasundhara, celebrated their annual function with the theme ‘Genesis-An Odyssey of Languages’. The students exhibited the Heritage of Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Nagaland in the most exquisite manner. The school orchestra presented a welcome song. School Principal announced the numerous international laurels the school has won in the current session. The programme concluded with school song and the National Anthem.
  • Modern Convent School: Modern Convent School, Dwarka hosted its annual day celebration and prize distribution ceremony. Lighting of ceremonial lamp was succeeded by seeking Almighty’s blessings through Ganesh Vandana. The students performed karate, aerobics, yoga and acrobatics in string of strength. A dance drama dedicated to the Indian Army rekindled the passion of patriotism in everyone’s heart.
  • Amity International School: Amity International School, Pushp Vihar celebrated its senior annual day themed ‘Enlightenment-the Guru Shishya Parampara’. After welcoming the guests the function commenced with lighting of the revered lamp of knowledge. School Principal presented the annual report. The programme concluded with an inspiring speech by the Chairperson of Amity Group of Schools& RBEF.
  • Kendriya Vidyalaya: The primary section of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sector 8, RK Puram (first shift) celebrated the grandparent’s day and Bal Mela in the school premises. A cultural programme based on our heritage was presented by the school students. The grandparents were given exciting gifts as a token of respect.
