The 12-year old Vishwa Deenadayalan, a class VII student of Jaigopal Garudia Vivekananda Vidyalaya, presented himself with the perfect gift on his birthday; a double gold in the 77th cadet and sub-junior national meets in Kolkata. Vishwa was accorded with top billing in the cadet category and became the first paddler from the state to win the U-12 title. The youngster was initiated into the sport by his sister Raveenaa, a table tennis player.
