Sainik School, ‘only for boys’ presents admission notice for Class VI & IX for the academic session 2016-17. Entrance examination for admission to Class VI and IX will be held on 3rd January 2016. Applications are being issued in the school since 12th October 2015 till 21st November 2015. Last date for receipt of filled in application is 30th November 2015.
Eligibility:
For Class VI: Should not born before 2nd July 2005 and not after 1st July 2006.
For Class IX: Should not born before 2nd July 2002 and not after 1st July 2003 and should study in Class VIII in a recognized school.
Vacancies: 80 seats available for Class VI and 15 available for Class IX approx.
Reservation of seats: For SC candidates: 15%; for ST candidates: 7½ %; for Defence candidates 25% of the remaining seats.
Exam Centres: For Class VI- Amaravathinagar & Puducherry
For Class IX- Udumalpet, Puducherry & Chennai.
