Asvitha Kamatchi, a student of Seripalayam Government High School in Coimbatore bagged state second rank with good scores of 498/500. His father, MMR Duraisamy, a coconut farmer thought that he was destroying his daughter’s future by shifting her to a government school from a primary school due to financial issues. He did his studies up to Class X while his wife completed Class XII. They want their daughter to complete her graduation and earn a well-profile job for herself so that she does not have to lead a life like them.
