Talentica, the 46th annual festival of St Mira’s High School, Rajajinagar, was celebrated with much enthusiasm. The highlight of the show was a shadow dance performed by the students along with a message, “Save Mother Earth”. Chief Guest and School Chairman Niaz Rashid felicitated the students of Class X of the 2015 batch and their teachers. The programme was a culmination of different cultural activities performed by the high-spirited Miraites.
Children of The Brigade School combined the two benign qualities of passion and compassion with ease. As volunteers teaching visually challenged students at Shree Ramana Maharishi Academy for the Blind, they interact with the children and discuss general topics and on their sports day. They teach English in a fun manner through various activities. In January 2014, the students organized a daylong carnival which was open to the public. An 18-seater van was bought from the proceeds and donated to the Academy.
